Finance director

Transitions of PA is seeking a Finance Director to join our team. The Finance Director is proactively responsible for budget development and management for all allocations, income, and expenses of the organization. This position is responsible for the maintenance of all financial records of the organization. The Finance Director supports fundraising for the organization led by the CEO and prepares, analyzes, and interprets financial reports for management and the Board. The Finance Director supervises the activities of the Fiscal/Fundraising Administrator and the Fiscal/Operations Administrator.

Child Advocate

The Child Advocate provides client-centered, trauma-informed support services to child victims and their families who have experienced domestic violence, sexual assault, and other serious crimes both in the safe houses and the surrounding communities. This position requires providing counseling, on a one-to-one basis and through group facilitation, to empower individuals and to strengthen families. The Child Advocate will work with both adults and children.

PSH Housing counselor/advocate

The PSH Housing Counselor/Advocate provides community-based supportive services to survivors of domestic violence who are experiencing homelessness and who have a disability. Transitions permanent supportive housing program aims to empower program participants to achieve their self-defined goals that will support their ability to obtain and maintain housing. These include but are not limited to safety planning, an improved sense of self-worth, self-sufficiency, and permanent housing in a safe, stable environment. The PSH Housing Counselor/Advocate is required to meet regularly (no less than monthly) with the program participants to monitor, advocate, and intervene on the formalized plan. They must be able to work a flexible schedule and be flexible to the changing needs of the organization and clients. Significant travel throughout Union, Snyder, Northumberland, and Schuylkill counties is required. The PSH Housing Counselor/Advocate works collaboratively with all Transitions staff and must be able to contribute and work well in group settings.
